Software engineer, building the half of the product nobody sees.

Backend systems, distributed messaging, and retrieval pipelines.

Final-year Computer Science student at BIT Mesra. I work on APIs, queues, schemas, and RAG — most recently on vehicle diagnostics infrastructure at Hero MotoCorp.

Next.jsNode.jsPostgreSQLRedisRabbitMQJWTTailwindGemini
  • Contributed to the VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) app, used internally for end-of-line firmware updates and proof-of-concept vehicle diagnostics.
  • Wrote backend API routes in Next.js against a PostgreSQL database, covering driver registration and the face-authentication flow.
  • Added role-based access control using JWT, with sessions stored in Redis.
  • Worked on the messaging layer with RabbitMQ, moving service-to-service calls onto queues so a slow consumer wouldn't hold up the rest of the pipeline.
  • Cleaned and prepared roughly 4M EV telemetry records across 128 features to feed an adaptive time-to-empty prediction model the ML team was building.
  • Sat in with the cloud team on VCI's AWS deployment and picked up the basics of EC2, S3, and containerized builds.

ContextGrid

Multimodal RAG platform

Next.jsFastAPILangChainChromaDBGemini
  • Hold a conversation with PDFs, images, and structured documents through semantic search.
  • Ingestion and vector-indexing pipeline on FastAPI and ChromaDB, with distributed storage and low-latency retrieval over embeddings.
  • Next.js interface with file uploads, chat history, and streaming responses.

EphemChat

Chat rooms that delete themselves

Next.jsNode.jsRedisWebSockets
  • Rooms, messages, and memberships expire on their own through TTL-based Redis keys — hashes, lists, sets — so nothing is persisted.
  • Real-time messaging over WebSockets, with TTL expiry synchronized on room start or first message sent.

PeerUP

Coding hints inside the browser

JavaScriptChrome Extension APIOpenAI API
  • Chrome extension that reads the LeetCode problem you're on and offers a hint instead of the answer.
  • Automated DOM interactions and batched async requests to keep hints near-instant.
